If you're new to Pilates or joining an existing class (not Beginners only), I recommend an initial one-to-one assessment.
This allows us to evaluate your posture, individual needs, and medical history, while teaching you the Pilates principles and how to apply them to your body. The assessment ensures you join the most suitable class at the right level. This is essential for anyone referred by a medical professional or wishing to join Back4Good classes.
Cadillac and Tower Pilates
Combined equipment sessions using both the Cadillac mat and Tower springs (attached to the reformer or cadillac mat) for comprehensive, full-body Pilates work. Perfect for building strength, flexibility, and control.
What is Cadillac and Tower?
A specialised session incorporating both the Cadillac (a raised platform with an overhead frame and springs from multiple angles) and the Tower unit (a vertical spring system attached to the Reformer frame).
This combination provides the widest range of exercise possibilities in Pilates - from supported stretches and gentle decompression work to advanced strengthening exercises.
The variety of spring positions and attachments means we can precisely target specific muscle groups while maintaining the full-body integration and alignment that makes Pilates so effective.
The tower can also be used with the reformer.
Experienced Pilates practitioners ready for varied, challenging work, those rehabilitating from injury who need the precise support these apparatus offer, or anyone wanting the most comprehensive Pilates experience available.
Particularly beneficial for: Developing shoulder and hip mobility, building core endurance, creating a distinctive sense of length and space within your body, and refining movement patterns.
Suitable for all levels with appropriate exercise selection.

The Cadillac features a raised platform with vertical uprights at each corner, connected by an overhead frame. Springs attach from multiple angles - above, below, and from the sides - creating exercise possibilities unavailable on other apparatus.
Originally developed by Joseph Pilates, the Cadillac excels at hanging work for spinal decompression, overhead exercises for shoulder mobility, and supported movements that make challenging exercises accessible. The variety of spring positions allows precise targeting of specific areas while maintaining full-body integration.
The Cadillac (Trapeze Table)
The Tower
The Tower is a vertical spring system that can also be attached to the Reformer frame, bringing Cadillac-style exercises to a more compact format.
With springs positioned overhead and a mat platform for floor work, it provides many of the same benefits as a full Cadillac - overhead resistance for core work, shoulder mobility exercises, and that distinctive sense of length and space in your body.
An efficient apparatus that expands exercise possibilities without requiring dedicated space.

The Reformer primarily involves pushing or pulling a moving carriage. The Cadillac and Tower use springs from multiple angles - above, below, and from the sides - creating different movement patterns and positioning options. They're particularly effective for shoulder mobility, spinal decompression, and exercises that create length through your body.
-
