• If you're new to Pilates or joining an existing class (not Beginners only), I recommend an initial one-to-one assessment.

This allows us to evaluate your posture, individual needs, and medical history, while teaching you the Pilates principles and how to apply them to your body. The assessment ensures you join the most suitable class at the right level. This is essential for anyone referred by a medical professional or wishing to join Back4Good classes.

Who is this for?

It is fantastic for everyone; male or female as it can ease back-pain, helps posture, decreases stress, improve wellbeing, and strengthen the whole body.  Most importantly it has proven to help with any pelvic dysfunction and continence issues without the need for intervention.

 FAQs

  • Many women see significant improvement or reversal of mild to moderate prolapse. Results vary but the technique was originally developed for exactly this purpose.

  • Hypopressives are not difficult to learn. However, it is easy to get it wrong so professional coaching is essential, especially for beginners. The breathing pattern take practice, but I find most people grasp the basics within 2-3 sessions. Group classes are perfect for learning the fundamentals.

  • Yes - while often associated with women's health, men benefit from improved core function, posture, and back pain relief.
