If you're new to Pilates or joining an existing class (not Beginners only), I recommend an initial one-to-one assessment.
This allows us to evaluate your posture, individual needs, and medical history, while teaching you the Pilates principles and how to apply them to your body. The assessment ensures you join the most suitable class at the right level. This is essential for anyone referred by a medical professional or wishing to join Back4Good classes.
Private Pilates Sessions
One-to-one Pilates tailored entirely to your body, your goals, and your needs. Personalised instruction on mat, Reformer, or full studio apparatus.
What to Expect from Private Sessions
Your session, your pace, your focus. Private sessions provide complete individual attention - every exercise chosen specifically for what your body needs that day.
Whether you're rehabilitating an injury, managing a specific condition, working toward a performance goal, or simply prefer undivided attention, private work accelerates your progress significantly
Session structure: Initial assessment to understand your history, goals, and any limitations. Each subsequent session builds progressively, with exercises adapted in real-time based on how your body responds. You'll receive hands-on corrections, detailed explanations, and homework exercises to practice between sessions.
Equipment available: Full studio apparatus at High Corn Mill, Skipton (Reformer, Cadillac, Wunda Chair, Tower, Ladder Barrel) plus mat work. Barnoldswick sessions focus on Reformer, mat work, Wunda Chair, and Tower.
